Marisol Munoz is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner who earned her Doctorate in Nursing Practice. Marisol has over 15 years experience in healthcare. Her background includes emergency and preventative medicine. Working many years in the emergency department inspired her to pursue her passion for preventative medicine. Marisol was eager to focus her career on preventing the community from seeking primary care in the ER. In addition she is passionate about seeking new research oppurtunities to expand cancer screening criteria.

My experience includes critical care, urgent care, primary care, program development, and research. I have experience in telemedicine with weight management, and mental health care. I have cared for patients of all ages however have focused most on an adult population. I have been in practice for over 10 years. My mentors have included a variety of backgrounds such as: Interventional Pulmonary, Pulmonary Care, Lung Cancer Care, Cancer Survivorship, and Throacic Surgery. In addiion I continue to seek educational oppurtunitites to expand my knowledge and keep up to date with medical practice.
