I live in Illinois with my husband. We have a lively household that includes two dogs and four children: two who are grown and off on their own adventures, and two teenagers who join us for the fun on weekends, in the summers and on holidays. My husband and I are avid hikers who love a good challenge. We’ve shared some incredible experiences on the trail including hiking Pikes Peak. I have hiked through the Grand Canyon and also backpacked over 100 miles through Europe with my brother. When I’m not on a mountain, I enjoy reading. I believe in treating every patient like a member of my own family. My goal is to listen first and ensure you feel heard and supported throughout your healthcare journey.

I have owned a private practice in a rural community for the last two years seeing teenagers and adults in an office setting and also through a telehealth platform. I offer mental health care for teenagers and primary care, mental health care and hormone replacement therapy to adults. The conditions I treat in primary care include preventative care, diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disorders, cholesterol, and many other conditions. The mental health conditions include anxiety, depression, post traumatic stress disorder, eating disorders, etc. Prior to that I worked for a telehealth company (Cerebral Medical) seeing adults for mental health conditions. This was a start up company with many changes occurring during the time I worked for them. During some of that time, I also worked at our county jail and filled in at other county jails as well. In this role, I took twenty four hour call and saw inmates one day a week. We provided primary care, mental health care and urgent care services.
