Experience

From 2020 through January 2026, I worked for a Clinical Research Organization (CRO) in progressively advanced clinical and leadership roles. I began as a Traveling Sub-Investigator, assessing patient eligibility, ensuring participant safety, and supporting protocol compliance across multiple clinical sites while collaborating with diverse teams. I later served as a Nurse Practitioner Manager, providing clinical oversight and mentorship. I then transitioned into a non-travel leadership role and was instrumental in launching and operating a new clinical trial site in Memphis. I led site development from the ground up, including securing a location, building and training teams, managing regulatory processes, and leading patient recruitment and retention. The site grew from one study to five active studies by the time of my departure. I subsequently joined the Community Engagement Department, where I managed teams of 5–10 staff members, organized pop-up clinics, and provided free health screenings in underserved communities to expand access to care and research participation. Throughout this period, I also worked part-time in telemedicine, providing post-acute rehabilitation coverage and GLP-1–based weight management care. Prior to my CRO experience, I increased clinic volume by 50% in one year, achieved record new-patient growth, and helped transform a practice into a primary care clinic. I also teach students in clinical settings and mentor colleagues.
